Fishing during the 2010 Olympics.
The 2010 Olympic winter Games will be in Vancouver, Canada (Where I live) in less than a month. I will be working as a Security Supervisor at the games and will be working 40-80 hour a week at the games so more than likely I will not be making many (If any) posts during that time.
If I have time, I will post a few times, but I just wanted to let my readers know that there will be a lack of posts during the Olympics and Paralimpics.
In the mean time, get out and do some fishing, there are a bunch of places and different spieces of fish that can be caught at this time of year including Citthroat Trout, Bull Trout (Char) and winter Steelhead.
Try some of these places;
-Steelhead, Try The Squamish River, The Stave River, The Vedder, the little Cambell.
-Bull Trout (Char), try the Vedder, The Squamish
-Cutthroat Trout, try the Harrison, The Little Cambell, many of the backwater sloughs of the Fraser River (Nickomen, Mariah, etc…)
I WILL be back with a vengeance after the Olympics are done. Stay tuned, after the Olympics as there will be some really GREAT additions to this blog including Weekly “Friday’s Fly” as well as at least one instructional video per month (Hopefully 4-6 per month) including videos on Tying, River and Lake tactics, Equipment maintenance, knots, etc…..
Have a great time fishing in the next few months.
